Secova Tapped to Deliver Four Presentations at Leading Industry Conferences in October
Company's Benefits Administration Expertise to be Demonstrated Through These Educational Sessions Providing Important Cost-Savings Ideas for HR and Benefits Personnel
COSTA MESA, Calif., October 22, 2007
- Secova, a leading provider of human resource and benefits management services, today highlighted four separate presentations its executives were tapped to deliver in October. Joel Carter, vice president of client services and relationship management for Secova launched the company's presentation activities on October 4 at the HR Florida 2007 conference, with a presentation entitled, "Benefits Cost Management - What to Consider." Hosted by the HR Florida Council, an affiliate to the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the HR Florida conference hosted approximately 1,200 attendees to this year's Orlando conference.
Carter also led a presentation at the SHRM Atlanta conference last Monday where over 1,000 people were in attendance. Carter's speech in Atlanta, Georgia was entitled "Benefits Cost Management - Solutions Both HR & Financial Executives Should Consider." He will also present "Tools for Discussing Benefits with Your CFO" at the HR Southwest 2007 conference this Wednesday October 24 in Fort Worth, Texas. HR Southwest, also affiliated with SHRM, is the largest human resources conference in the nation, expecting over 2,300 HR professionals to attend.
Further demonstrating Secova's experience, Bruce Borgos, director of absence, health and productivity management for Secova will be presenting "Dependent Eligibility Audits - Open Enrollment and Beyond" at the New Jersey chapter of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists (ISCEBS) in Florham Park, New Jersey this Wednesday, October 24. As the sole presenter, Borgos will provide details on the overall process and timing of performing a Dependent Eligibility Audit and well-learned lessons for achieving the best results through a review of actual client implementations and the results obtained.
"Through our constant interactions with HR and benefits personnel, the most ongoing theme of discussion are what potential cost savings opportunities are available in relation to the benefits they offer their employees," said Carter. "With this in mind we've really focused our educational efforts this year, in both or own webinar series and industry speaking engagements, on providing specific tools and programs that can help benefits teams in these endeavors. All of our presentations detail the often overlooked areas of dependent eligibility, voluntary benefits and absence management, all issues in which the implementation of specific programs can save important benefit dollars. We're looking forward to this series of presentations as we believe attendees will walk away armed with excellent information to help in their 2008 planning."
